Blackthorn

Blackthorn is a 3D detective game, inspired by the Netflix show "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" and the Nancy Drew games by HER Interactive. The player, Genevieve Benoit, magically attends Blackthorn's Academy of the Dark Arts in Sevier, Vermont after she turns sixteen. As a new student at the Academy and new initiate into Sevier's secret Coven, Genevieve uses her magical journal to guide her while she unlocks dark secrets about the school, the teachers, the students, and her own past.

The current build features a short segment of the beginning of the first day. The current gameplay involves talking to the NPCs around you to learn more about the school and other classmates. You use your journal to move around the map and track your tasks. Gossip you learn about other students will also appear in your journal. 

After you collect all the ingredients for the scavenger hunt you will be able to playtest the potion minigame. That is the end of the current prototype. Thank you!
